Meet Gerald “Jerry” Clay, Esq.

With decades of legal experience and expertise in Partnering, dispute prevention, and alternative dispute resolution, Jerry is uniquely equipped to help organizations prioritize goals and resolve challenges effectively.

During his career, Jerry founded Honolulu’s Clay Iwamura Pulice & Nervell law firm, served as adjunct professor at University of Hawaiʻi William S. Richardson School of Law, and co-authored “Before You Sue” (an introduction to mediation). Additionally, he served as president of The Mediation Center of the Pacific. Over the past three decades, Jerry wove Partnering into his law practice, successfully applying the Partnering process to legislative initiatives, commercial business endeavors and not-for-profit operations.

Today, Jerry is a passionate pioneer, driven by Partnering’s potential to improve society, enhance business success, and transform the legal industry. He is fully committed to expanding Partnering’s influence across both sectors.
